It's easier to be brief, I find. Everything was wonderful. Beautiful location, great staff, dog friendly, lovely food. If you get the chance, then visit. Anyone who is disappointed is a fool

A really lovely and welcoming community pub. The landlord went out of his way to make us feel at home and was very attentive to our needs. The pub had a great atmosphere and we chatted to both the staff and punters when we were there. Would thoroughly recommend.

Do not bother eating here. Food was extremely over priced and not at all enjoyable. Ridiculously over-faffy. A tiny salad with what was described as a mini pasty - which was def not a pasty - and a revolting sausage roll (again mini). There was onions and cucumber which the chef had somehow managed to make completely tasteless. Over £80 spent for our party of 5 (three children) and everyone left hungry. Will never go again.
