The best restaurants serving British food in Hollingdean and Stanmer Brighton and Hove South East

Great find for quick bite with family and friends. Food was piping hot and served swiftly. Service friendly. Sould definitely recommend.

Attended for a family Sunday Roast to celebrate a birthday. The place is very bland with little soft furnishings and therefore very echoey. It gave me the feeling of eating in an old school canteen. There was background music being played but didn't do much to generate an atmosphere. I chose roast lamb. It came with the usual roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, veg, and yorkshire pudding. The food was cold, and the cauliflower was raw. The staff were pleasant. The service was mediocre and lacked finesse. Would I go back again? Probably not

The Victoria cake was really good but the latte was less than average.
