The best restaurants serving British food in Catterall Wyre North West

Visited twice in the last week. Appreciate it's busy but courtesy and manners cost nothing. Had to wait quite a long time waiting to be sat, yet multiple staff walked past without saying a word. Food very nice. Delivered at varying times between us. No offer of sauces and had to ask both times. Both times, issues with the wrong accompaniment and had to wait again. Very slow service overall. Nowhere near enough bar staff. The ones that are there are borderline rude. It's as if they're doing you a favour. No real speaking of note, more grunting, certainly by the young lad that works behind the bar. The only one that stood out was Libby, who was decent and had a smile etc, whilst being friendly. The rest, I wouldn't pay in washers. Expensive also.
