Great food and atmosphere, dog friendly will visit again

Met friends first lunch and catch up. We hadn't been here for years. The staff were fabulous. Food mixed - if I am allowed some constructive criticism, the Fish Finger Sandwich would be nicer served on either a soft roll or sourdough - 30% Fish Finger 70% Bread (Ciabatta). Chios were yummy. Just my opinion, may have suited others.

We had a lovely dinner at the Crown & Conspirator. The Steak & Ale Pie is the best i have tasted. A big thank you to Paula and her staff for making us welcome. We shall return again.

We had the three course Christmas dinner 17/12/24.. we are regulars here.. the food was very well presented and served.. the staff were friendly as usual.. there was plenty to eat.. we left fully satisfied.. thank you all both front and back of house..
