The best restaurants serving British food in Keswick Allerdale North West

Stumbled upon this excellent cafe during our trip to Keswick on a cold and wet February day! We only planned on having a pot of tea but when we saw the cream tea for £6.50 each we couldn't help ourselves! So for £13 we had the tea and some really nice scones with cream and jam. Excellent service and immaculate customer toilets!

Very good food from imaginative menus. We ate from the Tapas and the Main. Veal escalope from the Main and the spicy meatballs plus patatas brava from the Tapas menus are highly recommended. Generous portions.

Food, staff, setting all excellent. The lemon posset is to die for. Great location close to high street. Very reasonably priced.
