Excellent service, disappointing Sunday lunch, slight redemption with an excellent sticky toffee pudding and good service. The three roast lunch had a very small piece of chicken and two small single slices of pork and beef, side of veg. Meat was disappointing, chicken dry, the beef fatty and the pork was fine. Veg cooked well and the service was very good, great with kids as well. Lovely setting, very disappointing lunch, think it was about £26 for the main so not cheap and offered very poor value for money. Kids meals were very good and the sticky toffee pudding for pudding was superb.

Excellent burgers, a traditional pint of ale or ask for the old and trusted Guiness. Nice to stop by, nice to stay longer and have a chat. Definitely a friendly trench to a tired soldier.
