The best restaurants serving British food in Bishop Auckland Town County Durham North East

A wonderful family bakery, long may they continue, standards are excellent. Please support local businesses like this , we need them in our towns . The staff are lovely and the food is out of this world , I am so lucky they are in my town , thank you everyone.

Arrived at 10 on a Tuesday morning in half term and there was only one other table taken but by the time we left an hour or so later, the place was full. We all had different breakfasts and they were all delicious! Full English to French toast. Service was great, teas were piping hot and all reasonably priced. Wish we were around d long enough to sample lunch too but we will have to wait until we next do a trip back this way. Really clean and parking outside, gorgeous place to fuel before exploring nearby.

Lovely Sunday lunch so relaxed staff always very welcoming same again today

I had half a chicken with rice and hubby had the turkey Christmas dinner All delicious and succulent and served hot. Very tasty, I would highly recommend this place
