I am writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to this restaurant, which fell well below my expectations due to poor service and unclear booking terms. I had made a reservation online for 12:00 PM for two people, clearly noting in the booking that we would also have a baby with us and would require a high chair. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the door by a man I assume was the manager. When I mentioned our booking, he looked at us and sarcastically remarked that we had only booked for two people, implying that the baby counted as a third guest. His tone and attitude were dismissive and disrespectful, which immediately made us feel unwelcome. In addition, we were informed—after ordering drinks—that the 30% discount voucher we intended to use was not valid due to it being a bank holiday. This restriction was not mentioned anywhere on the website during the booking process, which felt misleading and frustrating. Due to the unprofessional attitude of the manager and the lack of transparency regarding the voucher, we chose to leave after paying for our drinks. It was an unfortunate experience, and I believe it could have been avoided with better customer service and clearer communication.
