The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in Castle Without Windsor and Maidenhead South East

Decent food at a reasonable price in a pub set at the foot of Windsor Castle - stunning view. Good menu and good selection of ales.

Lovely pub with a lovely atmosphere. Real Ale on draught (a few very nice pints of Fuller's London Pride). The 5 of us couldn't fault the food! It was gorgeous and a reasonable price too. Would 100% recommend the Sausage and Mash. Slight confusion towards the end of our evening as we had just finished our main course (at 21.20) and enquired about ordering dessert, to be told the kitchen was closed by the member of staff behind the bar. Shortly after this a different member of staff came to our table and asked if we would like dessert... we explained the confusing situation and she allowed us to order. Thank you! (The desserts were very tasty!) Overall, definitely a place to visit! However if the kitchen is closed at 9.20 - the times on the website need to be corrected to reflect this.
