Just so disappointing, completely unloved pub. Have tried to contact the owner to understand what's happening but still not responded. No food, at least on this visit there was some drink. Please please let's get this pub back to where it was. Such a shame as so many locals on your doorstep 😔

We came here today for the first time. Food was plentiful, well cooked, lots of choice with roast potatoes, beetroot, leeks, sweet potato mash, great meat too. Fab service, the waiters worked really hard.

Great refurbishment of what was a run down pub. Friendly staff. 3 mainstream cask ales but they were very well kept. The “Ale Collector” card gives you a free 8th pint (after paying for the previous 7). Multiple visits allowed 😂

I asked for an extra Yorke pudding with my Sunday Lunch and they said if I left a review I could have one… Bribery works. SO Now I have had a lovely Sunday dinner with the Extra Yorke pudding .. i am a man of word so I can now say that it’s a top Sunday Lunch and very nice.. not been here for a few years and it’s well worth a visit with a good section (and the yorkies are great too)

Popped in for a Sunday roast as recently moved to area. Really pleased I did - was very impressed. Staff friendly. Nice atmosphere and the meat and roast potatoes were the best I’ve had. SO good.

The food and service were both poor. The Yorkshire puddings were flat and hard. One of the desserts arrived 10 minutes after everyone else had finished theirs. They had run out of coffee. The manager was apologetic and offered us free drinks but I wish we'd gone somewhere else.

The Thai menu is already legendary and a great welcome is guaranteed but the pub now has a fantastic outside space to take advantage of the good weather something that has been missing for a long time.

Este pub estaba a solo 5 minutos de nuestra casa de huéspedes y a 10 minutos del castillo de Windsor. Tenía un ambiente muy agradable, muy concurrido pero no una larga espera para la comida, que era excelente. La señora escocesa Helen detrás del bar era agradable y todo el resto del personal también.

Después de haber realizado el viaje de 35 horas desde Brisbane, Australia en avión y en autocaravana a Windsor, nuestro grupo de 5 tuvo nuestra primera comida en el Reino Unido aquí. Se había hecho una reserva desde Australia y el gerente incluso cumplió mi pedido de un pastel de chocolate sorpresa ya que ese era el cumpleaños de mi esposo ese día. El personal era educado, amable y servicial. La comida estuvo deliciosa. Las instalaciones limpias. Gracias por hacer que sea una noche agradable.

We went to this pub for dinner with other members of our family on a Saturday night.We had booked a table but there was a bit of a mix up as other people were sitting there but we did manage to sort it out. Apart from that we had a very nice evening and the food was excellent. Everyones meals were tasty and delicious so well done to the chef.I am so often dissappointed when eating out in pubs but this was certainly not the case at the Vansittart Arms.

He estado viniendo a Vansittart por un tiempo ahora, principalmente un lunes para la noche de damas a mitad de precio, y debo decir que tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio y que el personal del bar Harry y Sinead son muy acogedores, amables y muy respetuosos que recomendaría Este pub para todos y personas de todas las edades.

He estado yendo a este pub durante muchos años ya que vivo localmente. Esta noche me atendió una camarera muy educada que ha estado trabajando allí durante bastante tiempo, pero después de estar allí por una hora o más, terminé siendo atendida por una señora que no había visto antes con el pelo largo que no estaba recogido ( muy antihigiénico). Estaba esperando en el bar cuando la señora dijo: "Estaré contigo en un minuto", pero luego desapareció por un tiempo bastante largo. Cuando ella regresó, le pregunté por qué había una espera tan larga y su respuesta fue "bueno, estamos cortos de personal esta noche" en un tono muy grosero y agudo. Nunca me habían hablado de esta manera en la que creía que era un encantador pub familiar.

Este es un buen pub. La oferta de comida es básica pero buena y tiene una hermosa cervecería al aire libre. Es una pena que el alto nivel de mal humor y la falta de calor de detrás de la barra arruinen el lugar. Esto no es una observación única, lo he visto varias veces y viene de la parte superior. Si va a ser un miembro del equipo que mira al cliente y un líder detrás de un bar, intente parecer que quiere estar allí, ¡que no le está haciendo un favor ni una sonrisa a sus clientes! Finalmente, sus clientes votarán con sus pies a pesar de los otros puntos positivos de los pubs.

Aunque fuera del centro de la ciudad, vale la pena visitar The Vaansittart Arms en Windsor. He estado varias veces a la hora del almuerzo, aunque no en la noche. Siempre he encontrado al personal servicial y amable, y disfruté de la comida tradicional de pub con un buen servicio. Recomendaría este pub, y siempre me gusta ir allí.

I was looking forward to the bubble and squeak, bacon and eggs. Whatever it says on the plastic bag and however long they microwave it, bubble and squeak it ain't. Sort of big croquettes with anonymous green specks. Not helped by strips of salty leather and rancid-tasting hollandaise. Eggs were OK! All-Fullers beer (no genuine guest) was well-kept.

Fuimos allí en julio de 2017 y fueron recibidos por un personal amable en un ambiente estupendo. El menú de comida era estupenda (ver fotos) y optamos por burbujas y chirriar y una pizza. Ambos fueron servidos con rapidez, porque era un martes por la noche las bebidas vino gratis con la comida principal, así que fue una estupenda relación calidad-precio. Recomiendo encarecidamente comer aquí o llamar para una bebida si te alojas en la zona.

Nuestra última noche en Windsor, comimos en el pub inglés. El servicio era un poco lento, pero el ambiente. Cinco de nosotros pedimos el pescado y patatas fritas y me dieron la sopa de pollo y maíz dulce. La sopa estaba bien, pero no era lo que esperaba.

This is a welcoming pub about 15 minutes walk from central Windsor. I have been here a few times. If you are looking for a good pub lunch in Windsor that is fairly priced this is a good place to go.

Cuatro de nosotros visitamos un sábado almuerzo con nuestros dos Yorkshire Terriers disfrutamos caminos. Llamé con antelación para comprobar que eran perros y estaba muy tomada por el personal hospitalario. Parece ser un popular pub en el corazón de la comunidad. Había una gran variedad de clientes que van desde un caballero su lectura de periódicos de mayores grupos de familias con niños pequeños. Nos pareció que la comida de pub tradicional en el menú simple estaba por encima de la media. El joven cocinero trajo la comida a la mesa y es claramente una ventaja enorme para el equipo, ya que la comida estaba bien presentada y había sido preparado con cuidado. Esta fue una experiencia alentadora en un día frío que me recordó por qué debemos apoyar a nuestros pubs locales!

The food there is great, Realiable and honest, exactly what you need. However the pub itself is looking a bit old and could do with a bit of a face lift. Cold be a cracking pub, but just feels like its let itself go a bit. If you need some food and a quick pint, worth a visit for sure.

Recently visited this local pub in Windsor. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and inviting. The bar staff, especially (J) and (Chloe) were most accommodating. Well recommended and will be back again!

This use to be the best pub in Windsor, however the service has dropped to rock bottom and the atmosphere has changed to something more like a working mens club. The pub is dirty and in need of a total overhaul.

7 of us for a school reunion, sat out in the sun in the beer garden drinking assorted beers, eating and chatting for about 4 hours. Good range of beers and a decent menu too. Bar staff lively and v friendly. Very pleasant lunch and afternoon, not sure what it would have been like if it had been wet and we'd had to be indoors.

Our food order receipt states 2:11pm and the meal comes at 3pm. We only order a pork roast, a chilli dog, a burger and nachos. The food was ok but not amazing. Parking all around the pub was residents only. Quite disappointing.

We visited as a group of 6 after visiting Legoland. We got there at 6.00pm and ordered a drink. When we asked for a menu we were told that they didn't take orders until 6.30 pm which we thought OK but with 2 small hungry children was a bit of a pain. We weren't allowed to order until 6.35 and then the food took about 25 minutes to come. We had 2 sharing platters which were quite good. Would I come again probably not - the place felt quite cliquey and not particularly welcoming.

Great place to enjoy a nice cold one, the beer garden is accommodating for everyone; heaters, plenty of seating and shelter from bad weather. Might I add should you wish to watch the sports there is a TV screen perfectly angled to the beer garden and a pool table!Definitely will be returning.

Op een weekdag hier langs geweest. Ze hebben verschillende bieren maar het beste is een gekoelde Stella. Het was er heel druk en je moet je bestelling doorgeven aan de bar. Op het eten dienden we niet lang te wachten en het was verzorgd. Het blijft natuurlijk wel een pub. Je kan er ook buiten zitten op het terras.
