Several years since we were last here, this time very disappointed! Previously the staff knew all about the steaks on offer and brought out the uncooked steaks on a board to show you and recommended the best level of cooking. When served they insisted you cut into the steak whilst they were at the table to confirm it was cooked to your liking. Lots of other side stuff, home cooked bread etc. This time staff didn't really know anything, mediocre steaks and very expensive, in fact my steak alone cost £10 more than the full Rio Steakhouse experience down the road which is much better. I assume there are new owners who have let the quality slide downhill from what used to be excellent.

Myself and my husband Visited this restaurant last night.ordered our starters which came quickly. They was nice but nothing special. Then proceeded to order mains.I went for the lamb curry and husband some sort of mixed grill.I had 1 large mouthful of my curry and instantly knew there was cheese in it which I’m allergic too.Husband checked the menu again to double check and there was no cheese listed. He approached the waiter and asked was there cheese in the curry to which he replied yes.Husband told him I was allergic and he said well nobody else has complained before. At this point I started to become rather unwell so husband paid. They took my meal off the bill but left his on even though we had to leave quickly. We had a 5 min walk back to the hotel which was awful.I was vomiting.Heart palpitations, really dizzy and felt like I was going to pass out at any point.luckily enough I had medication with me at the hotel and lay down for a good while until I recovered.Resturant need to clearly state what ingredients are in dishes and also ask about any allergies.I wasn’t asked and also didn’t feel the need to tell them as I hadnt ordered anything I shouldn’t.ALERGIES CAN KILLTHIS RESTAURANT WAS SHOCKING WHAT THEY DONE TO ME AND THERE AWFUL RESPONSE

Can’t fault the staff, they were great. However the lamb hanging kebab mediocre with a small bowl of chips nothing special, and the botanist lager not tasty, the birra moretti that my wife had was better.
