The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in St Katharine's and Wapping Tower Hamlets London

We dined in the upstairs restaurant. Service was really slow - it seemed only 1 person was really attentive to the table but he was amazing. We had noone take our drinks until this guy had come off what ws clearly his lunch then he was on it! It took a good half an hour before drinks were even ordered - and we were only 1 of 4 tables in there! We went at about 4pm on a Sunday and they had already run out of most of the roasts. They turned so many people away that day as not long after us, they had run out of the majority of the menu. No background music - very quiet. Lacked atmosphere. Even the kitchen was very quiet! The place is beautiful so it was a shame it lacked the atmosphere inside.

Hardly any of the menu items were available at 7pm on a Saturday so ended up with a cold inedible burger and chips which looked like they’d been there all day. The wine was also missing lots of items. When the bill came we all totally shocked at the price. My wife enjoyed her salmon so we’re giving 2 stars but I would tell people to avoid this place as there are so many great restaurants in London.
