The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in Suffolk Coastal East of England

Lovely cosy restaurant, sitting on the till was an award for best fish and chips 2024 and it didn’t disappoint. Good sized portions, the kids pasta dish was very tasty also. Very Friendly staff. Of course you pay a little more for the food due to location and restaurant but certainly worth it. Will be back for sure Keep up the good work and winning the awards

This was our first time trying various items on the menu (ribs, wings, chicken club, etc). It was a late afternoon, on a Saturday, and we didn’t order in advance (our fault), so we had to wait about an hour for our order. It was definitely worth the wait. It was delicious!!! Don’t let the exterior of the building fool you: it was a clean, well organized establishment.

Walked through a dark Thorpeness on a very cold winters evening. On entry to the bar I was very happy that they had a roaring fire in the grate and that there was also Adnams Broadside on draught. It was well kept. Top marks also to the food which was hot, well cooked, presented, and easily consumed with my 2nd pint.
