It was our first visit to this recently reopened restaurant in Rogerstone. We were given an immediate warm welcome and offered a choice of tables. We were served promptly in a relaxed and attentive manner. The food was succulent and attractively presented. It was good value for money. We will certainly go back.
Just moved to rhiwbina and was excited to see my new ‘local’ and it did not disappoint, beautiful rustic interior ,amazing coffee (iced or hot) &cakes .and really lovely staff ,will be coming here again and again .
Lovely food , despite an abundance of bees landing on us whilst eating with 3 little children under the veranda , owners have got some bee attractions but they were all full . No children’s menu but we ordered adults food and shared them out . And no high chairs , so although children liked the animals we probs won’t go again because cafe no overly child friendly .
One of the few places in Newport that has craft beer available. The owner was super friendly and attentive and so was his dog scout. A variety of retro consoles downstairs too!
Visited for the day to watch the 6 nations rugby - it was an accidental find and they were amazing. Welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We spent a lovely afternoon - food 1/2 time and good drinks and service.
Thank you
Can't recommend this take away enough. The people who take the order are lovely, prices are so reasonable & the food is amazing.
We stumbled across this gem when our usual go to was closed & we weren't disappointed. We went back to our usual recently which was not up to par. We're firm fans of this takeaway.
Stayed at the Premier Inn so booked an evening meal. Service was great. A few items on the menu not available, which was a little disappointing.
The meal was OK and probably in line with expectations. Not sure that we would return given the large number of local options
Great boozer ( drink only ) does not serve hot food .
Opens early till late PERFECT if you are a nights worker , we refurbished flooring here , but we found them to be friendly.
So pleased to see Aber has a Cafe Nero! THE best coffee house. I popped in for an Americano with oak milk, had a few issues with my app but the male barista was very helpful and sorted it out for me- thanks! Lush, strong coffee.
It's a Greggs but the staff are even more friendly than they usually are. I popped in to pick up the usual vegan sausage rolls and they pointed out all the other things they did that were vegan, explained the meal deals and cracked a couple of jokes too,
It's a Greggs but a bit better than usual.
As a family we were well served and the food was excellent. The kids loved the starters and pudding and to keep then amused they brought out some paper and pencils.
