Staying nearby and wanted BBQ meat, good value for money. Paid and picked up later. Queue outside most of the time

Long term user of Rawlings for our sausages by far our favourite sausage maker, we live in Southampton so buy in bulk for the freezer. NB a butchers shop not somewhere to eat.

Got family living in Swansea so the journey to Abergavenney is about 90 mins but well worth it. Probably adviseable to phone beforehand and Rawlings will put your order to one side. We spent about £50 on sausages ! Personally i think they are well worth the extra money, about 3 x more compared to the crap you get from supermarkets. On the other hand they are 3 x as big proper fat, long meaty sausages. I've tried the cumberland so far and it was excellent. Lots of different flavours from pork n sage, cracked black pepper, pork n leek, beef ones. The minted chops looked delish as well. Friendly service with a smile. Will enquire to see if they do mail order.

I was staying in Monmouth with a friend and we decided to have dinner at Whole Earth. The restaurant is small, but has a great atmosphere and Prae, the owner, is very welcoming. Each dish was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The Pad Thai was the best I have eaten. My companion had the Pad Nam Prik Poa which I tried and it was very tasty, with a good spicy heat. The cost was very reasonable, and we took our own drinks for which we paid a small amount in corkage. i would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will be visiting again when I am in Monmouth.

A cracking little cafe. 6 of us turned up on market day for a breakfast and they managed to fit us in. Lovely food and service
