The best restaurants in Carew Pembrokeshire West Wales

Lovely place to eat, excellent service

Sadly this establishment is due to close at the end of October. The current owners have placed the pub up for sale. At time of writing this review it's future is unknown.

I went here for IronMan Wales, as it was prime spot to see the cyclists. The staff are wonderful. I was served by Jess and she was fab, service was quick and efficient, with a smile too. It is a lovely little pub, a real gem!

Lovely courtyard seating, customer service was great and the sandwiches, coffee and cakes are delicious. Easy parking too.

We had the Sunday lunch. The chicken was ready for immediate consumption but the veg took 20 minutes to cook 🤷‍♀️ We also had beef which was reformed. The veg were in foil trays and had to be reheated. Totally tasteless. Later we thought we would try the fish and chips. (We were staying locally.) The chips were soggy, as if they had been left over and re fried in not hot enough old oil. The fish was grey and chewy. Horrible.
