The best restaurants in Tredegar Park Newport South Wales

This is a cracking takeaway in Duffryn,just off the J28 M4 nr Newport. Situated within a stones throw of the historic Tredegar House we have driven out of our way to go here. The food is fresh, piping hot and very tasty! Although the shopping area the takeaway is in is rather tired and run down - driving there it looks like a dead end from the main road, don’t be put off; it’s worth it!

This is a from this morning. Asked for hot coffee. They served cold coffee, and I took it back. I'm not sure what they did but returned the same cup. Service has gone down, and this is used to be one of my favourite places for coffee. I'm not even sure if they read reviews and train staff appropriately on customer satisfaction and health and safety and food hygiene

We went for the festive lunch we had to wait ages in between courses the starters were ok the festive burger was good turkey dinner was frozen roasties the veg was hard not impressed.. and disappointed…..normally have very good meals here. The food going out for the normal menu looked good. it was not particularly busy so not sure what happened but won’t go for festive menu again!
