The best restaurants in Llandysilio Powys Mid Wales

Staying locally and came by today for some lunch with my 2 boys after finding info about the cafe in the information pack. food was very tasty; best bacon, brie and cranberry panini I have had. staff were very friendly and the atmosphere in the cafe was great. cat wait to come back on our next visit.

I called here today on my journey from Speke to Cardiiff having been three weeks ago and enjoyed ham egg and chips (iIseem to recall they swopped baked beans for me instead of peas the eggs were requested to be cooked hard and they were done exactly as I like them. This time I had home made leek and potato soup folled by homemade steak and ale pie with jug of gravy and chips - absolutely superb, Will definately be calling here whever i pass,

Worst take away meal we’ve ever had from an Indian. Had a Makhani and a Mowgli. The food was very watery and absolutely tasteless. Even the pineapple ring had no taste. We’ve had this experience there before but decided to give it another try. Most of my husband’s food went in the bin.

Lovely little family pub has a range of Alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Also has ample outdoor and indoor seating with a lovely beer garden to the side and rear of the pub. The offer a small private hire space that also leads out onto the beer garden. Would recommend to families.

Didn’t expect to find food like this, along with amazing staff that have a great sense of humour. Bit of a wait as you’d expect for freshly home prepared and cooked food. We had everything, kids meal, veggie meal, meat meals, starters, desserts, beer, wine soft drinks. We couldn’t fault a single thing. Nothing was too much trouble, down to the shared pate stater with 2 different chutneys, the stunning kids fish finger butty that’s the best my daughter has ever seen and the absolutely stunning lamb shank for Sunday dinner that deserves a rosette or Michelin star! Chef came to chat to us after the meal and check how things were, and along with the description I’ve tried my hardest to describe I’ve attached photos of the food!
