Been going to Good Friend for years and years!!! Actually ended up having a Good Friend for Christmas one year, feeding all 12 of us!! Food was still pipping hot by time we had driven out to Kingswells!! The last order we had, seems like they've changed the sauce with thr shredded chilli beef....... change it back please!!! No need for so many freebies, really should be an option. We hate prawn crackers and the chicken wings could be left out too - that's personal for us!! Can't wait to get stuck into another soon!!!!

When we arrived our waiter introduced himself as Mika and was very attentive throughout our meal. We were with a friend whose birthday it was but she has some severe food allergies- Chef Andy and Mika could not have been more accommodating! Made sure everything was acceptable for her to eat. Even brought her a birthday cake made of apple with a candle! All our food looked and tasted delicious- highly recommended.

Primera visita a los Vinci durante ARW's 2025 , y no decepcionó. El restaurante es muy acogedor y tiene un ambiente encantador, y está idealmente situado en el centro de la ciudad, con aparcamiento y conexiones de transporte cercanas. La comida era deliciosa - tuvimos tres platos y todas las opciones fueron bien recibidas. El paté y la tarta de queso definitivamente vale la pena probar. El servicio era amable y un buen ritmo teniendo en cuenta lo ocupado que estaba el lugar. Definitivamente volverá a probar más de las opciones de menú!

Lovely meal and great helpful staff, I am gluten free and my partner is vegan so not easy to provide for but they excelled with us.

Nice hotel, rooms a bit dark, food was incredible nice. Had New York Strip and highly recommended. Solid service.

Normally it's very good but tonight not good at all left it one of the the staff asking if everything okay told her no twice came with the wrong order told me i was rude for telling her that didn't like it at all

Llegamos a las 14. ¿30 el jueves 9 y te dijeron que era solo para llevar? Únicamente buscábamos café y un pastel, pero nos dijeron que estaba cerrado a las 15. 00 , no estoy seguro de lo que querían decir con esto, pero para mí, si están abiertos hasta el 15 . 00 , deberían estar sirviendo hasta entonces, tal vez el personal quería alejarse temprano o pueden permitirse rechazar a los clientes de pago, estábamos así de impactados por la actitud de las damas, simplemente nos fuimos, ojalá le hubiera dicho algo en su momento, pero como mencioné, fue un shock total.

First time ever in the Chester and its probably going to be our last given how much it cost, £52 for a one-course meal with drink! At the prices they charge, I was expecting something special but really there wasn't. I was nearly £21 for a burger & chips (£18.50+12% service charge) which despite being asked to ensure it was fully cooked wasn't. It had no flavour either, in fact I'd have a cheaper and tastier meal going to Burger King! OH did say his fish & chips were nice, especially the chips as they were at hand cut. About the only good thing was the service, prompt but not over attentive.
