Working away, googled food, found this 1.5 mile from hotel, went there, ordered, collected, eating on car park now, chilli dog/cajun fries, solid, recommend, enjoy.

Always loved this wee boozer but what a terrible experience I had today! The bar person (Ann) had such a terrible attitude.When I suggested that I may have been overcharged for my round of drinks and asked for a receipt, she said that it was not possible to do so and issued several blank receipts!,in a futile attempt to provide evidence for her positio n! She then advised that I would not be served with any further drinks!!! I have to ask if this is the pubs official policy??

Modern shop, friendly service. Open kitchen. I got the mixed meat satay skewers. The chicken was very good but the beef very chewy. The satay sauce which came separately was different to any other I have had locally. Very creamy and no heat. Was a very pleasant change. Would have been a 5 if the beef had not been chewy. Would try again. Parking to the front of the shop although can get busy at times.

Excellent as always and chips were delicious 😋

OK for a few pints. Traditional bar. TV'S showing racing. Locals outside the bar were friendly.

Lovely food just what you expect a good chippy to be like and the penne picante is very tasty could be doing with more smoked sausage in it though
