The best restaurants in Edinburgh and Lothian

We order delivery occasionally as it’s the best local place for tofu and other vegan options. Although the menu doesn’t mark things vegan you can reasonably figure it out. Some of favourites are their salt and chilli dishes - spring rolls, tofu and chips. Really nice chilli onions running through these dishes. All the tofu dishes are the deep fried style except the ma po special which is standard firm tofu cubes. You get free prawn crackers so if you’re veggie or vegan remember to mention this when ordering so you don’t get them. Some of the dishes can have a kick with their small green chopped chillies throw them. Delivery is always on time or early. Food is hot and the quality of food is good.

We love Bubbleology, but this was our worst experience by a mile. Service was slow, some boba wasn’t available. Our tea had v little flavour and my daughter’s tea was powdery. Won’t go back to this particular outlet again.

No refund.rude staff.no pizza.crap company. No customer service to complain and get refund paid 25 pounds for no food .I will cause your shop thousands in cash by turning up at your shop with a placerd warning and scaring away future customers give me my money back you crooks. You don't treat locals like this ya plum

Absolutely terrible service. Tried to serve someone else that was in before me and then my item was £6.50 asked where my change was and she had put the change from £10 in the tip box!!! Was serving lots of people at once not concentrating at all. Definitely will not be back.

Very disappointed tonight with the service from Tony’s, have had excellent service in the past but have seen a decline in recent months.Having waited over an hour for our delivery, we placed a phone call to have an update on the order, the response was curt and nothing short of rude, we were informed that they were busy and they would send it out in the next half hour, it’s Monday night for goodness sake, and the order was for 2 suppers not a gourmet meal, unacceptable to wait almost 2 hours without even an apology, I doubt we will be using Tony’s again, poor show

Soy un cliente habitual desde que me mudé al área hace muchos años y decidí probar la aplicación en línea por primera vez.Algunos puntos que debo plantear son, en su mayoría, críticas constructivas* la aplicación es engorrosa y difícil de navegar. El proceso de registro no es fácil de usar. Quizás la gerencia debería contratar a un especialista en TI para hacer algo de optimización* aparentemente se ofrece un descuento cuando "tocas la aplicación". No pude averiguar cómo reclamar esto* la aplicación dice que puede pagar con PayPal, pero cuando llega a la página de pago, esta opción no se ofrece* un plazo de entrega de 7. We initially entered into this establishment almost frostbitten from the chill night air. We set up shop with various sweet treats we had acquired from a separate business, and were then told to exit with our varied desserts. We then consumed them outside and reentered. We then ordered halloumi fries and were told they would take 10 minutes. Unfortunately, our bus came before the cheesy delights had been properly prepared. We sprinted away to the bus and sat on the top level. Upon looking back at the Pizza Hut, my travel companion noticed the same man who took our order waving through the window of the Hut. He waved and pointed at our late night snack and pleaded with us to return. Sadly, we could not, but his dedication lives on in our hearts. If there is a God on this Earth, I feel warm knowing we have been graced with his presence in a Bathgate Pizza Hut. Onwards home!

The man that served me this morning approx. 8.05am was so rude. He threw my bacon roll onto the counter then turned his back on me. I am disgusted by his service and lack of manners. I got a Jammie doughnut as well and because he didn't bother to put the little cover over the icing, by the time I went to eat it on lunch all the icing had come off. That is twice he has pissed me off today.

Came as had heard lots of good things. The buns were delicious and properly Scandinavian style, which is still a rarity in the U.K. so big plus for that. Coffee delicious too and breads looked amazing. Staff service let down the place majorly. I visited several times during the week with a pram and not once did any of the staff offer to hold a door open or help with the pram as I struggled in and out. I found it quite unbelievable that staff would not offer help, but instead send voice messages or scroll on their phones. Like I said, the standard of food and coffee is so good that you’d expect the service to match it. Next time, I think I’ll try the other ones.

Absolutely useless, ordered a PLAIN Double Big Mac with ONLY cheese and bacon. Got it with enough rabbit food and sauce on it to keep a rabbit sanctuary for a week. Constant mistakes from these people. Absolutely terrible. Educate your staff and make sure they listen. How do you end up giving the OPPOSITE of what someone asks? Not the first time there’s been mistakes from here either.

Fue atendido por Dee & Johanna, que estaba siendo entrenada como personal, ambas chicas muy educadas, muy serviciales y rápidas con los pedidos, me estoy convirtiendo en un cliente más regular, realmente espero que Johanna lo haga bien y esté allí por un tiempo

Awful. I decided to try Burger King at Livingstone, as not had one for years, and will never have one again after my experience. Entered the restaurant to make my order, and went to the counter, as I do in Five Guys & MacDonalds to place my order. I cannot used kiosks for medical reasons. Service staff said cannot do personal orders, have to use machines, though heard you can do personal orders in other BK's. Basically told me to F**K O**. Also discovered they do not take cash, why not other places do. Never returning.

Korean style chicken bites is one of the best things ever! Very often I go there just to get those although the price is way too high

I have just spent £4.25 on the worst hot chocolate I have ever had. It’s weak, watery and looks more like a bad cup of tea. If I hadn’t just boarded my train I would be taking it back. Unbelievable waste of money
