The best restaurants in Edinburgh and Lothian

One of the best veggie burgers I’ve had. Completely homemade and a proper burger style patty. Would be excellent as is but I upgraded to the Mac ‘n’ cheese veggie burger. Best decision I’ve made in a long time!

Beautiful food, friendly staff and the cheese cake is to die for. 10/10. I have ordered for delivery on a Saturday in 3 occasions and every time it's hot, if you order stake pie the pastry comes in a little bag not to get crushed in transport. It's just the little things.

Esta visita fue con tres amigos que nunca ha estado aquí antes y todos estaban muy impresionados, no sólo con la común (una preciosa casa privada) sino también la bastante variedad de comida deliciosamente delicado.

I love that Edinburgh now has take-away that doesn't involve food saturated in grease. The cauliflower Mac and cheese is delicious as are the prawns. My partner had the pork belly and dauphinoise potatoes, said he couldn't fault it! Thanks back burner!

Encontré este café en el casco antiguo de la ciudad cuando necesitas de refrescos, excelentes largish tazas de té y enormes trozos de bizcocho casero. Las grandes ventanas para ver el mundo pasar, todo a un precio de ganga! Esta verdad es difícil de superar.

La comida y la relación calidad-precio son increíbles, pero el personal lleno de bromas y extremadamente amable está fuera de este mundo, me encanta este lugar

We came across this chap in grass market walking during our Edinburgh vegan food trip. We had the blueberry cheesecake recommended by the other reviewer, totally agree with the sentiment, outstanding in flavour and texture. We also tried the brownie, tiffin and some cookie marshmallow sandwich creation (yeah we like vegan cakes!). Everything was handmade, the chap took pride in his work and was super friendly. 10 out of 10, if this business was nearer where I live, I would need to buy another wardrobe! Go visit!

The lounge was lovely. The atmosphere was great but the service was fantastic. Shubh and Bhumika took great care of us. Shubh especially, recommended us drinks and deserts and was completely spot on with both. I would definitely go back anytime they are working.

Have drank, ate and laughed here many times! Great bar with amazing staff and friendly banter. They show all the big sports, have karaoke and quizzes! Great shots menu so grab your friends for shots and shenanigans

Pasé por una solución rápida. Estábamos impresionados con la calidad aquí. Este lugar tiene el mejor baklava que he tenido! Además, tienen muchas variedades, así como otros tipos de golosinas del Medio Oriente. Tienen un precio razonable y se preparan con precisión. Regresamos hoy y estamos planeando traer una caja con nosotros cuando salgamos de Escocia. Absolutamente fantástico. ¡Tienes que parar y probar esto!

Excelente, venimos aquí cada visita a Edimburgo. Agradable alojamiento, buena comida, cerca de la estación y la calle Princes.

Excelentes gofres, panqueques y cafés. Los vimos en Bathgate mercado. Excelente relación calidad-precio, os lo recomiendo.

Unpretentious, friendly, homemade, affordable. Not easy to find cafe's like this so close to the city centre.
