El pastel de terciopelo rojo era tan suave y delicioso, pero todavía prefiero el de frutas silvestres que creo que se llamaba - no recomendaría obtener los cupcakes, ya que no son nada especial, pero las rodajas de pastel son solo 🤤🤤
A cosy and friendly cafe with delicious and interesting food. The staff could not be nicer. I always feel welcome and rather at home in the warm atmosphere. The toasted house wrap is great as are the incredible cakes. Really good flat white as well!
Old Basin House 5 Applecross Street Glasgow G4 9, Scotland
A food-led community space by the North Glasgow Canal. Very simple, just soup cakes and toasties but very delicious. A selection of locally made sodas on offer. All set in an 18th century restored house that offers community gathering spaces and has a small vegetable garden.
You always know what to expect from Greggs. They are very dependable, and the food is always the same quality whichever one you go to.
This is a small Greggs with a tiny sit in area, which, when we were there was closed off and being used for storage, so we took our lunch and went and sat in the town square across the road instead as it was a sunny day.
I stayed here for 2 nights on a room only basis. I was in Arbroath to watch football. The hotel is in the Town centre. I had a warm welcome when I got there. The room was more than adequate for my requirements, ensure with tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel had a downstairs bar and varied menu to choose from. Overall, it was value for money and there are plentynof pubs and eating places nearby.
We called in for lunch. The food was excellent, home made mushroom soup, jacket potatoes, croissants and quiches and white chocolate cheesecake - all delicious and the service was brilliant, so friendly and welcoming. Also lots of trinkets and cards to buy. Wheelchair access too which was really useful for us. We would thoroughly recommend this cafe/restaurant.
Great stop off point on walk for tasty bacon roll. Used it as outdoor service during COVID and have called in for morning rolls or afternoon cakes on many occasions. Always clean, comfortable and tasty

Loved this wee place, a hidden gem!
Staff are fantastic, very friendly and attentive.
The food is great and very reasonably priced. The cardinal sin of marketing tubbed guacamole-type smush as 'avocado' was unfortunately committed. #freshisbest
