Large hot choc was average in size. Brownie was small and thin. I bought for ravenous husband. Good size for a child. Tasted good. Was told the brownies are home made hence the thin squashed look. Im very familiar with home made brownies. They dont look like these. Anyway, nice that they were open as we were desperate and husband felt better after eating.

The venue - beautiful The ambiance was very conducive to good mixing and chatting at my niece's wedding. The food was delicious and well presented. However the housekeeping was dire. No bath towels. No body creme. And the most heinous crime of all in this day and age -damp bedclothes. Yeuch! Three other guests had the same experience. These were premium rooms! The manager was brusque saying she would contact us by email on Monday. No email And this is why I m writing this review. We would recommend getting accommodations elsewhere!

On the plus side the order was ready in the 20. Inutes that was quoted and was hot. The girl on the counter was friendly. However the meal was poor, the prawn puri didn’t taste or look anything like a puri, so much so I wondered had we been given the wrong meal. Similar story for the biryani. Won’t be going back

I visited the cafe carnfunnock and had some really tasty food and a coffee. Was really impressed by the standard of coffee and service by Niamh, very friendly and made a top class cappacino. Will be back very soon.

Food ok though I didn't ask for spicy chicken goujons which is what I got Service terrible waited almost 30 mins from ordering, when I asked where was my order the woman made excuses like "we've telephone orders too" very cheeky when she could have been more apologetic In future I will give this place a miss, not be there ever again

Family members met for breakfast here at a new venue for us. Easy parking & ample seating, especially outside. Ordered our food & drink at the counter, where the queue moved along quite quickly. One member chose the fried breakfast which he was pleased with. The rest of us had a selection of croissants & scones all of which were enjoyed, as were our teas & coffees. The serving staff were efficient at their tasks, but could do with a course in hospitality with the public as each one we encountered was sullen & unsmiling. Some folk, mainly children seemed to enjoy a good range of books in a bookcase, which was a nice touch. After this, a relaxing stroll around the park rounded off an almost perfect morning. Will certainly return.

Driving along the Causeway coast we stopped in Glenarm to browse Steensons and have a little walk around the harbour. It is a very quiet, though very pretty, town, and there were few options, so when we saw the Tea Emporium we jumped at the chance to go in and get some lunch. The setting was idyllic, great decor, menu, dietary options etc - service was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed a pot of tea, sausage roll and a ham and cheese toastie - all were great - though sadly meant we had no room left for the delicious sounding cakes afterwards...maybe next time!

Honestly, this place does the best chips I've had in a long time. My son and I are addicted to the salty crispiness of these chips. Best in County Antrim and maybe even Northern Ireland. Can't vouch for the rest of their menu as we have only had the chips, but GO and BUY some and support this wee place.

Went here today with my friend. Waited 15 minutes to get our order taken. Another 25 minutes for my friends tea and scone to be brought to him followed by another 10 minutes for my 5 piece fry breakfast to be brought out to me. I can say if I knew I'd be waiting a total of 35 minutes for the size of my fry I'd not have bothered. Now I can say the food was tasty very tasty but the portion size was small. After waiting that amount of time it would have been nice to have my poached egg cooked properly. The woman who brought me my fry didn't speak to me or even make eye contact with me which I found very rude. Overall the service was very slow, some staff members don't come across as very friendly. There didn't seem to be much attentiveness to customers and a bit to laid back. I probably won't be back here again.

Excellent cafe/restaurant it’s a wee hidden gem of a place, food is so nice and a great range of gluten free food including tacos and lovely deserts. Staff are so nice and I will definitely visit again soon.

I would give 10 stars if I could... found it by accident on google when we wanted a bite to eat at a really awkward time of day 15.45 on a Thursday. Chef really accommodating in terms of gluten-free. Waitress was super friendly and helpful... Food was fresh made and super tasty. price was a steal at just over £20 for 2 mains a side and soft drink. I’ll defo be back! Thanks

Excellent breakfast. Love the soft poached eggs, good quality sausages and friendly ambience. Great coffee. Just missing black pudding and hash browns. If Chris had these on menu I'd score it 10 out of 10. But Sunday morning open is a god send. So I score him a 9 out of 10.
