They had great-looking quiche and carrot cake to tempt me. I went for the lasagne with side salad and a pot of tea. It was great. Their outside dining area is paved and in the first section of the courtyard that goes under a second arch to a bigger courtyard where The Talking Shop is. They get a maximum 5 out of 5 for their scores-on-the-doors hygiene rating. You can see Belfast Lough from their front windows. Over the road the play park was being renovated, so it was a building suite. All completed now. Set into their blue wall facing the sea they have a cute red postbox that’s a GR one. 1936 – 1952, yes I had to look that up.

This is a relatively new coffee shop as it opened last year. Food is excellent and staff are all really friendly. It is situated in the courtyard and, along with the other retail outlets, it makes for a very pleasant way to spend sometime in Carrick Town centre. Well worth a visit!

On first impressions this is a lovely homely coffee shop in the courtyard complex in carrick, the decor is nice, it has been redecorated lately , this is the first time my wife and I have been here for maybe 3-4 years , we ordered our food and sat down, the prices are more restuarant prices and we got a shock with the bill, years ago we stopped coming in due to it always being cold, this visit was the same, as soon as we sat on the uncomfortable seats we were cold. The food is ok, the coffee cold, traybake afterwards was really good . Staff are friendly although the older woman is extremely loud which takes away from the otherwise calm ambience, we heard everything she was saying the whole visit.

A new kid on the block for Carrick coffee shops. Newly redecorated with a good menu and very helpful and friendly staff. Salads were excellent and nicely priced. Happy to return and to recommend.

Our first ever golf trip to Northern Ireland started at Carrickfergus Golf Club. A very warm welcome from Gary, the club pro who could not do enough for us. A short but challenging course with very good greens. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

Gekozen voor de lunch, een heerlijk stuk vis geserveerd met krieltjes en een slaatje. Vriendelijke bediening in een gezellig ongedwongen kader dit samen met de collega's. We komen hier zeker terug

This wee delight of a place used to be perfect for afternoon lunch but after my visit today I doubt I'll be back. Waited for 55 mins for food to be brought when I observed other tables who had arrived after us being served first. The order was a fry, panini and 2 salads....so no cooking required for those 2 dishes. When the food was served an excuse of an apology was given which really qa wasnt acceptable given we waited nearly an hour at lunchtime...lucky we weren't understand time pressure. The prices have increased considerably too and the portion sizes have definitely got smaller when a caeser salad is £10.80 and not much eating it and a panini was under filled for £8.80...,not good at all. In fairness the fry was adequate. Don't think ill be back. Which is a shame
