Excellent food, very friendly service, great selection available on menu and of baked goods. The baked goods are very generously portioned - it's the sort of place where you want to try everything in sight! The restaurant seating area inside is very quaint with mismatched tables and chairs but limited in size, although there is outdoor seating available if weather permits. I cannot fault the quality of the food but be warned however, it is a little on the expensive side e.g. £10 for a filled soda and £5.80 for one sausage roll. There is a toilet available in a nearby wooden shed but bizarrely the is a sign inside which says "This toilet is not part of the Creamery Can and should not be reviewed as such" - which makes no sense whatsoever. It was badly in need of a deep clean when I visited, but I was glad that it was available regardless. Either take responsibility for cleaning it, or don't allow the public to use it!

I ordered a code and a chicken slice, also a tea and a slice of pizza. I was looking forward to a hot cup of coffee and hot food. Not to be, tea and coffee were hot, pizza was freezing although my son ate it. My chicken slice was cold to touch and also freezing, I took it back and asked it to be heated, was told they can’t do that due to the rules, I asked for a hot one and was told the rules are it was hot when put out and it is served as is after that. I have been a loyal customer of Greg’s for years since it started in Scotland. Never again, they don’t sell hot food it’s pot luck and the answers I got were just it was basically my tough luck, no refund offered or implied. Never again,

Started off pleasantly but not for long. As the girl serving was filling the roll I couldn't help but notice that the scoop she was using was only partially filled each time (I know from experience that it's supposed to be full as it measures the required portion). As a result the roll wasn't adaquately filled. I asked her to put a small amount into the roll to remedy this, however she just stated that this would cost extra and that I'd received all I was allowed .......... When I pointed out her incorrect use of the scoop she just blanked my comment and asked what cheese I wanted. I asked for grated and, surprise surprise, she sprinkled on the lightest possible amount before putting my order in the toaster.I was tempted to cancel my order at this stage but have personal issues with food being wasted, which would have been the outcome. Some of us use this Applegreen services on a very regular basis. But as far as Subway is concerned - Lesson learned I suppose ..... but I won't be back !!
