First time visit.
I ordered veg broth with wheaten bread.
Was creamy and fine and wheaten was good.
I then ordered a burger with fried onions and it was good.
A latte to finish off was nice and strong enough.
All cost me 10.00 stg. Not cheap but not over top.
Girl forgot my coffee and had to be reminded. Bot staff fine and efficient.
One foul mouthed swearing male customer spoiled atmosphere.
The place seats 30 so is not the biggest and seems busy.
I will pop back soon and recommend.
In the month of May I have been twice with my father and once with a friend to Maxemoo. It is a delightful spot with real farm charm. The owner, Heather, provides a warm smiley welcome. The food is delicious. There is a large imaginatively designed open air seating area at the rear to relax in. A few minutes walk from the wonderful Millisle beach. Highly recommended - give it a try!
My goodness, this pizza is class.
Hot honey pizza.
Convenient car parking across the road. Good service, I really recommend here, best pizza in Newcastle, hands down.
Had breakfast hash and a mocha today with my daughter. It was delicious and the service was so good. Mannerly, helpful and happy staff. Will definitely be back. Only criticism the helpings are big so couldn't manage anything else! Next time...
Slightly off the beaten track at the Harbour but a really worth while visit. Staff very homely and friendly. Very reasonably priced and the food is very tasty.

Great service, delicious hot coffee just what you need to start the day.
Excellent selection of fresh produce for your sandwich/panini. Tasty hot food counter.
Lovely surroundings.
Visited with my partner on a very wet and windy Saturday afternoon, greeted warmly by the manager and waitress and advised table would be ready very shortly, ordered bottle of wine which I was informed was very good quality and I had a beer.
Taken to table soon after, full Christmas menu on plus a number of favourites which are on all the time which was good to see if had your turkey and ham fill already.
I ordered scampi and chunky chips which came with a side salad, this was one of the very best Scampi I have ever had, large plump king prawns in a lovely light batter, well cooked chips and the light salad and fresh tartar sauce complimented it really well.
Partner ordered a starter portion of seafood chowder with fresh wheaten bread and garlic and parmesan fries to come as her main dish, this looked very appealing on this cold, windy day, she said it was beautiful with plenty of seafood, nice thick sauce and chunky potatoes, I dunked some chips in it too and can agree it was really tasty and one to try in full again.
For dessert we had been told by a friend that they do a great apple crumble and side custard with dollop of ice cream on top which is right up our street, we couldn't see this on the menu and were pretty disappointed but the head chef Sam came over just at this time and introduced himself and asked about our meal, I cheekily asked about the crumble and he said, no problem I'll do it for you now, we shared the dessert as we were full from the large mains and it was delicious, took us back in time to be honest and a lovely end to a really enjoyable meal at a very reasonable price.
Finalising, great, friendly and professional front of house and staff, food very high quality with nice portion sizes , willing to go the extra mile, highly recommend.
Moved to the area recently and Eastcoast was recommended to us.
Simply the freshest seafood I have ever eaten.
Excellent prices, superb quality and staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
The business doesn't look like a shop from the outside, more like an old industrial building, however once in its clean and well stocked with fresh and frozen produce.
Delighted to have this as my local fishmongers.
Dropped into 2nd Avenue Café today while waiting for my car to be fixed nearby, and I’m so glad I did! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the café had a warm, welcoming vibe that made it feel like a real community cafe.
I went for the all-day breakfast, and it was just what I needed—really tasty and filling. The cappuccino was spot on too. I couldn’t leave without grabbing a rocky road for 'the road', and it was delicious!
If you’re ever in the area, I’d recommend stopping by.

The restaurant name is now PACHA. The staff are nice and friendly 5*, there is a single shared toilet which is clean though needs check from time to time as water pooling on the floor maybe from costumers drying hand 4*. The place is clean, nice view from window and close to Donard free carpark. I like the way you choose where you want to sit 5*. We dont wait too long for our food and all taste really good and steak cooked to doneness we ordered them. Chips and pepper sauce also taste good. 5*. Price of the food is not too expensive but not average either if you think of the taste, good service and and the location. We can recommend this and we will come back again.
