Maxemoo in Ards

In the month of May I have been twice with my father and once with a friend to Maxemoo. It is a delightful spot with real farm charm. The owner, Heather, provides a warm smiley welcome. The food is delicious. There is a large imaginatively designed open air seating area at the rear to relax in. A few minutes walk from the wonderful Millisle beach. Highly recommended - give it a try!

This restaurant is a little gem. Very quirky. The food is lovely and the staff are so welcoming and attentive. Beautiful garden to eat in at the back of the restaurant. Great place to take children. I would highly recommend a visit

Called today the food was very quickly served and tasty. Being served at the table in the small room. The cafe has several different small areas. Which must say made it a bit noisy for my liking. Food was tasty and tea came in a large teapot which have to say was a bit much even for me. Worth a drop in and snack.

Delicious breakfast. Food was cooked well and everything was hot. I would definitely recommend. Staff were friendly and attentive.

I've been dropping in here for coffee and cake since they opened in the summer and am working my way through their dessert menu - the slices of cake are huge and soooo nice. They do 'real'. food as well and it's also delicious The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them, the cafe is bright and airy and there's a large patio out the back. There's also a designated party room and they run themed parties for kids. It's exactly what Millisle has been missing for years.

This place was amazing. Brilliant farmyard theme for kids and kids parties but equally fabulous for the adults. Had a lovely lunch followed by a selection of desserts served on a wooden platter. Fantastic idea. Tea came served in a huge cow tea pot. Huge space out the back which I imagine they open up in the better weather or use for parties. Staff just lovely, couldn’t have been more helpful, particularly Emma and her Mum Heather. Will definitely be back.

This is a brilliant wee cafe and just what Millisle needed. The staff are so welcoming and the decoration is so quirky. Loads of different choice food wise and the farmers fry was delicious. If you haven’t been yet you are missing out!!!

Stopped here as too early to arrive at our destination. Just thought we would have a quick coffee and a bathroom break but were tempted by the cakes on offer. An excellent variety of cakes were on display and we were definately spolit for choice. Likewise a good selection of drinks and other snacks were available. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Would definately recommend and will definately be back

This place is just fantastic. Lovely set up very family orientated. My girls have asd and it's set up in a way they feel comfortable too Great for afternoon tea Breakfast.......lunch or just a desert. Excellent value for money. Even caters for a slimers option Staff friendly and nothing too much trouble. Really worth the visit

Went here for lunch with a couple of my friends was met by friendly staff and introduced to the owners service was excellent and lunch and desserts were amazing would highly recommend it from breakfasts to late lunches or even just to pop in for a tea or coffee

I came here today with my family and the staff were fantastic with the kids they showed us their kids room which had toys and colouring in to keep them occupied. I had the french toast which was very well presented. friendly staff and lovely food what more could you ask for. Definitely what Millisle needed. 10/10 Cannot wait until our next visit!

First visit to this lovely coffee and ice cream shop today...perfect weather for sitting outside. Seating is available at the back and front outside as well as lots of comfy seating inside. Well done to the staff and owners...you’ve done a fabulous job. Ice cream and coffee very reasonable and we got a very friendly welcome. We will return to sample other items on the menu.
