This place has improved every year, but at the moment 10/10 everything you need.
Also the cafe is well organised good staff and service,
The farm shop is a must to visit even if your just looking you will spend everything is great.
Pet area, furniture area, food area, plants and trees, Christmas stuff, Halloween area, houseplants, and house furniture from a to z.
Booked in advance for a breakfast ahead of attending a football match at The Shay. Less than 10 mins on foot to the ground. Cafe was smartly turned out inside and the bar area led out to a pleasant and colourful courtyard. The staff were friendly and attentive. Even though I'd pre-ordered, my breakfast was cooked freshly. The first sip of the accompanying latte was beautiful.
The bacon was thick and tasty, the sausage was local farm produce standard. Three sausages and three rashers too. Portobello mushroom and grilled tomato completed the ensemble, save for the tastiest grilled chorizo sausage I've ever tasted outside of Spain. Toasted sourdough bread and butter completed experience.
Reasonably and fairly priced too, I will be back the next time I am in the area.
Thanks all at Urban Garden Kitchen and Bar!
Stumbled across this cafe whilst working away, what a little gem. Food is lovely, good quality and reasonable prices. The staff are fantastic, helpful and very friendly
Deli on the bridge are old school. Great sandwiches/jacket potatoes/salads/burgers etc. for very reasonable prices.
They currently deliver locally if you spend £5, which is only the cost of two breakfast sandwiches. I treat myself to a sandwich every Friday morning and it is always delivered promptly and incredibly fresh and hot.
100% recommended
Our first time with a meal delivered to our home.
No pictures as we immediately scoffed all the delights.
Extremely happy with the deliciousness and quality of everything.
I was a bit hesitant as Mexican food was on offer for today's eat at home menu - not my partner's favourite but we needn't have worried, a ting of chilli, but not too hot - that was made up for with wondrous tastiness. And a very cheery delivery to boot!
Thank you, we will be back!
We have been going to this wonderful little cafe since it first opened. We usually get a take-out, but have also eaten in on occasion. The staff are absolutely first-class, friendly, helpful and just charming.
The cakes, all home-made, are scrumptious and the sandwiches freshly made to order. I can't fault it as a whole experience and whilst it can get very busy at lunch-time, as the people who man it are all volunteers, I trust customers are patient if they have a short wait for the delicious food.
Wow! The food is incredible and the staff are super welcoming. They recently hosted a wake for my mum as this was her favourite place to order food from. Definetly trying again.
Also, try the Rum Punch! Delicious and got the dancing going!
This is a great place for a coffee & a sweet treat or a spot of lunch, along with a great selection of Italian wines and food to take home with you - highly recommended if you're in the area
popped in for a takeaway brownie for the kids, the owner is so friendly, helpful and passionate about his business it is a pleasure to see. Deserts are delicious but very naughty...will definitely be back to eat in. A refreshing change from the countless faceless coffee chains.
Booked for a joint birthday. Eight of us from age 6 to 74. All enjoyed really well cooked dishes and sides and appreciated the attentive service. Lucky we went straight to the mains as the portions were large.
