Delicious lunch for a really good price, super friendly staff very willing to accommodate requests. Great choice of wraps, sandwiches, paninis and specials. Very affordable meal deals with snacks and drinks, plus homemade desserts.
To describe this Restaurant as average I feel it pretty fair.
There was nothing unpleasant about the venue, the staff were ok, the venue was clean and there is easy parking.
Food: again, nothing wrong with it.
The reason for a 3* is because every was just average. Staff did what they needed but nothing outstanding. The food was clearly brakes or something similar, edible but average. The Venue was average, nothing really stood out to warrant a second visit.
It was a bit like eating a reasonable meal while visiting elderly relatives in a care home.
If you’re looking for something that’s consistent, this is your place. But for a special birthday with friends it’s worth trying a good independent restaurant instead.
This is a great place where surplus food from M&S and other suppliers is made into delicious vegetarian and vegan meals each day. A little brown envelope is placed on your table at the end and you are asked to pay what you feel the meal was worth. The income goes to local good causes. Every day is a different menu and I was lucky enough to visit on the day of baked Camembert and roasted figs.
A little on site shop sells bags of M&S sweets (50p) and beautiful bouquets of flowers (£1.50).
A fab place and definitely worth a visit. Nearby parking and friendly atmosphere.
A hidden gem! The atmosphere was cozy and the staffs were friendly and helpful. They made great recommendations and checked in often. Great service makes all the difference.
First time coming here after hearing good things, and me and my family loved it. The restaurant's decor was beautiful — felt like stepping into the 70s or 80s. The staff were polite and helpful throughout. I ordered a full 16-inch pizza, half ham and mushroom, the other half vegetarian, along with 4 slices of garlic bread and chips. The only downside was the chips — a bit dry and lacking flavour. Also, it’d be better if they had actual bottles of Heinz ketchup on the tables, instead of having to buy the little packets that aren’t Heinz and don’t taste great. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend it.
