80th birthday celebration at The Oak. The food was excellent the atmosphere was great and we were all impressed by the service of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everything served to the table with a smile to what was a large group. My heartfelt thanks to all who worked so hard to make our evening an enjoyable one.

Ideally situated for relaxing, walking, cycling, boating, bird watching (a fish eagle) passed over head !). Massive, free, car park, regular classic car nights. The plusses go on. Minus - our room's furniture was of very good quality but the room lacked a side table, shelves and hangers in the wardrobe ( only 3 hangers and no shelves), tiny toilet, and I'll never understand a wash basin with . a central tap stopping you from washing your face without splattering the floor. Some might say they're minor niggles. A massive PLUS - the staff are absolutely wonderful, helpful, friendly, go the extra mile.
