I love Mums Kitchen, the menu is amazing, pasta curries salads you name it they have it. They do allow lots of noisy children and there’s a great kids menu but probably go later if you are a couple. Mum literally does all the cooking but she seems herself to exist on packet soup which we found a bit odd. The owner is very much mine host and often joins you at the table with lots of interesting tales and quirky facts. It’s a great place and we hope to be back soon

Called in after a dog walk along the beach this morning. Friendly and welcoming, including the dog! Coffee exceptionally good, would definitely recommend and will certainly go again next time we are in Southend. Thank you 😀

We stumbled across this restaurant just before heading home, it was very busy but they accommodated us and we enjoyed a really tasty meal, all freshly prepared. Well done.

We ordered the supreme box meal what only cost £5.50!!!! For this you get a huge, absolutely delicious Southern fried chicken with a spicy kick, a tasty fat hashbrown, cheese, lettuce and mayonnaise on a soft batch, fries and 3 massive juicy wings. You can have a different sauce if you ask. Absolutely stuffed after eating! This delivered for free if you call directly. Just eat, and uber eat charge for delivery Fast delivery and delivered hot. Ordered twice and both times very good We dont usually go for chicken takeaway but this is our new favourite Finger crossed they stay consistently good Only downside is the close so early 10.30pm in the week and 11pm weekends

Food was great, vegan options as well for my friend. Writing this review is making my mouth water again. Absolutely loved it. Was pricey as 6 of us, so will just Be a treat. Waiting time about an hour but totally worth it.

Saw the little signs on the main road easy to find just follow the road through the village to until you find the church and car park. I had breakfast which was yummy and came with a hot drink and toast staff really friendly please support this little village enterprise and all they have planned for the village.

Love this place. Really nice selection of sandwiches, panini and soup. The coffee is great and the owner is lovely. Great value too.
