I love Mums Kitchen, the menu is amazing, pasta curries salads you name it they have it. They do allow lots of noisy children and there’s a great kids menu but probably go later if you are a couple. Mum literally does all the cooking but she seems herself to exist on packet soup which we found a bit odd. The owner is very much mine host and often joins you at the table with lots of interesting tales and quirky facts. It’s a great place and we hope to be back soon

We have been coming here for years, pretty much every day. Highlights for us are the Sunday roasts, Christmas dinner (which is just unbelievably good ) and the owner’s special recipe prawn curry. Low points have been burnt pizzas, the menu can be a bit samey and the parking is a nightmare. It only suits 7 so booking essential. Special mention to the owner who is amazing.

Although there was one pizza missing, the delivery driver quickly sortded it out and brought our missing item straight away togheter with extra garlic bread as an apology from the restaurant. I do appreciate it and do understand they were just busy. Therefore 5 stars review - I am very happy with customer service, food was hot and delicious as always. Highly recommend! Best pizza in Rugby! Thank you!

Always a warm welcome, Flat garlic bread to share, Sea Bass with Veg. Chicken with mushroom sauce. Very large portions, perfectly cooked by the chef, excellently served by the staff. Such a good variety of food to choose from, and good price,

We visited today as it’s our wedding anniversary. We got married at Draycote several years ago and thought it would be nice to revisit for afternoon tea to celebrate our anniversary. It was lovely being back there and it evoked happy memories. However, the service wasn’t good. The food itself was pretty good. We were the only ones in the restaurant yet not once did anyone come to ask if everything was ok or if we wanted anything. We had to go and find someone to ask for another drink. For our second cup of tea the milk provided had gone completely off. Leaving large bits of soured milk floating around in the cup. Mentioned this to the waitress and there barely an apology. Didn’t even offer to replace the drink. It was nice for us sentimentally to go back but I really wouldn’t recommend it for anyone else. I’d say go to one of the nicer places around here with a better ambience and better customer service.
