Pizza Vera in Rugby

Although there was one pizza missing, the delivery driver quickly sortded it out and brought our missing item straight away togheter with extra garlic bread as an apology from the restaurant. I do appreciate it and do understand they were just busy. Therefore 5 stars review - I am very happy with customer service, food was hot and delicious as always. Highly recommend! The pizza had no base tomato sauce and was missing the extra pepperoni. It was basically a ham, cheese and onion toastie. Really disappointed as the food is usually exceptional

The worst pizza I've ever eaten. I don't recommend it.

Ordered before opening time and my pizza was again coming right out of the oven, sizzling and ready for me only minutes after opening time. Once again, tremendous pizza. An actual real pizza. Crispy, fresh, properly prepared and cooked. Go to Pizza Vera, forget the rest. I am gutted for not being a Rugby local, only in the area for prior commitments but I would happily drive 4 hours again for this pizza alone. It’s THAT good.

Best pizza I’ve had in a very very long time. Actual classic pizza style. Not like all the other rubbish you get from the rest of the ‘pizza’ places around where you live given to you in the exact same box. This was an ACTUAL PIZZA. It had a thin crust, when you bit down on it there was a tremendously satisfying crisp. It was fresh, I saw it come out of the stone oven when I walked in to collect. Forget the rest, drop all other pizza places you know and go to Pizza Vera. It deserves your money!!

Pizza was dry and not very tasty.

First off I love the pizza the base actually has flavour not just bland, second the chips are chunky, crunchy outside soft inside.

Top quality pizza, still waiting for the halloumi burgers to come back on the menu though 🤞🏻

Chicken wing was horrible and toooooo spice.Cesar salad was horrible as well,very dry chicken,salad was cuted with big pieces and a lot of crunchy bread and sauce on the top was too sour.I ordered all the time from you before and it was amazing.Sorry for review.

Amazing pizzas. The chips are chunky and full of potato. Probably the most authentic tasting pizza place in Rugby.

We haven't ordered from here since they removed the burgers so when we saw them be readded tonight we thought we'd try again because their chips used to be amazing. Unfortunately no chicken burger so I ordered the Boneless box. Before delivery arrived JE said 'enjoy food' and we knew it had been changed to hit targets. Chips are not what they used to be and were rubbish, nuggets were uncooked and couldn't be eaten, onion rings cold and customer service when calling was awful

Disappointing. Pizza Vera arrived without rocket. Not as shown on the website

We ordered a delivery of 4 pizzas and were pleasantly surprised. The pizzas were not too heavy - unlike some of the bigger brands - but light, full of flavour, and filling. The best thing about it though, was the fact that the money I spent (£10 per head) is staying local – going into the pockets of the people who made 4 great pizzas for me and my family. We’ll be back. 😋😋

Delivery driver said the restaurant was busy, Delivery slightly late.

Amazing pizzas, wings, and chips. Being at the other end of Rugby, the food always arrives quickly and still hot. Pizzas taste authentic and quality ingredients are used. If you’re still contemplating on ordering, do it, you’ll enjoy it!

Really delicious pizza, loved it!

Over all was very upset with the food. The pizza base was soggy underneath and the toppings were actually much tok over loaded with cheese. I had to have the pizza myself by sticking it in the oven at home to cook the base through properly and dry off all the excess oil and sauce. I would not recomend this resturant, which is a shame as I'm usually a big promoter of local businesses. The delivery lady was lovely and even called me to let me know it was on the way.

For it to be called a chicken pizza you expect it to actually have more than 9 small pieces on either pizza - flavourless, late and overpriced !

We’ve only had a few takeouts but they’ve all been great so far and piping hot. The chips are amazing! Proper chunky chips :)

I hope the pizza was cooked from frozen and they didn’t actually made that from scratch. Because if was a terrible greasy pizza unfortunately! I had some pizza from them in the summer and it was delicious .. not sure what happened now..

Usually Pizza Vera does good job but yesterday was awful. Pizza was overcooked, extremely dry (Prosciutto). Salad had freshless dressing and old chicken (caesar). Very dissapointed this time. I believe they have several chefs, some of them can do amazing job but other very poor job.

Ordered two pizzas, garlic bread and chips from here as this is normally our go to for pizzas. I’m not sure if it was because it was Christmas Eve or what but normally pizza Vera is 10/10 but today was disappointed. The chips were very soggy and the box was basically 3/4 full, the garlic bread was just bread with no garlic on it whatsoever additionally it was cold and although an attempt was made to cut it, it was basically a massive piece of bread. The pizza was barely cut into slices and the meaty pizza I order although it was nice as per the toppings were basically on top of each other in the centre of the pizza. So when a slice was pulled it basically just fell in the box. I’ll still come to pizza Vera but on this occasion it was very poor.

The Pizza was fresh and really nice but not enough topping. The chips were crispy and really lovely and tasty.

The best pizza in rugby. I only have it now and as dominoes you do get more for your money, however pizza vera actually tastes like italian pizza. Really fresh & cleaning tasting, no grease and nice and hot! 10/10

Fabulous food as always. The chips were out of this world! Fresh, crispy and crunchy, not soggy and undercooked like most takeaways. Ever since it changed owners , it hasn't been the same . Order is either wrong or comes cold .

I live in Hillmorton, and to have an independent pizza place that cares for putting fresh ingredients/a decent amount of topping; with a fresh dough base - without tasting manufactured or (always the same with their own distinctive funny twang) like Dominoes or PapaJohn's is refreshing! I spent years thinking I was treating myself to cookie cutter/standard 'big chain' pizzas, so after braving trying an independent and since trying PizzaVera's - I've never looked back. Even their sides of sweet potato fries are delicious. Although I'm a bit of a health freak and order once a month - it's my guilty pleasure! I always customise my pizza and add a few extras on. Without having Picolinos (in Warwick/Leamington) on the doorstep (which is best in Warks in my opinion), Pizza Vera is the best in the local area by FAR!!

Food quality was good as always but unfortunately two cans of fanta drinks were missing.

The food was amazing! We ordered far too much food but couldn't stop eating as it was so delicious. The burgers were incredible and very easily the best burger we have tasted. Would definitely recommend. Good price, big portions and delicious food. Husband has suggested adding an egg option for the burgers.

Excellent food! There was a mix up with the order, nothing major, but it was rectified by the delivery driver and was delivered within 1/2 hr and very apologetic, and they also gave us a full refund. 5* all round - nice to deal with nice people for once! Will be ordering again in the near future!

Really great service, we ordered a Bianca pizza without realising what that was, a bit of a surprise when it came without tomato sauce but it was my fault, and it was also missing a topping, so I called to explain and they sent a fresh pizza really quickly. Food is lovely as well.

Pleasant people and a selection of vegan options. The pizza base was thin and tasty. The toppings were sparse, except for the cheese. The main chains are better.

Have about one takeaway a quarter and finished painting decorating about 9pm and no time to turnaround to cook. PizzaVera to the rescue with a nice chicken, cheese and sweetcorn pizza. The only feedback would be to use chicken strips (breast) instead of cubes as the topping can blend more with the chicken, rather than the chicken protruding from the pizza - making it seem almost like hot chicken cubes were added separately after the pizza was cooked. Was still tasty and the chips were great by takeaway standards - pub style chunky chips! Whilst being too far away to get a takeaway from my favourite pizza place (Il Picolinos in Warwick) - this wasn't a bad backup option. Speedy delivery too!
