The best restaurants in Frome Valley West Dorset South West

Fascinating place and an amazing array of goods from the past and also have a nice lunch

Closed until further notice on 29th Aug so we went to the next nearest pub, Chalk & Cheese, to find it was also closed...

This incredible hotel was a great experience, i felt like absolute royalty, there is even a park opposite and wonderfull food, 5 stars ( if I could give 100 I would!) And very happy and polite staff! - happy customer age 10

We're new to the area and trying out some of the local pubs. Really friendly and efficient service. We were really after a sandwich but they weren't on the menu, but the lady said if we weren't that hungry, why not choose a starter, which we did. Really delicious food and fabulous chips. Lovely village setting too. We'll definitely be back!

Superb food as always, great friendly staff. All good from starters to pudding were excellent. The chicken coq au vin was excellent.
