We had a Sunday Roast, exactly what we needed after a long walk on the cliffs on a cold day. The service was great, everyone super friendly, I really recommend it. I think it is a family-run business and if not, it definitely has that feel. Tasty food, local beers, good choice of desserts...

Having dropped in for a drink and snack mid-morning we were really keen to try lunch - this was clearly not 'just any visitor attraction cafe'. It tells you a lot that mid-week in January we had to wait till quite late in the lunch period to get a table for three! It's not the cheapest place for lunch but like the Smugglers Inn at Osmington you get what you pay for.

Excellent service. Lizzie is lively and certainly makes you feel comfortable and at home. The food is exquisite, a personal favourite of mine, is the smoked beef board. Burnt ends, beef rib, brisket. All melt in the mouth and flowing with juice. The smoke leaves a delectable bark without overpowering the flavour profile of the meat itself. If you are feeling brave or want to stitch up your friends, challenge them to the chicken wings with dynamite sauce. It will blow your/thier head OFF. Extremely spicy but packed with juicy habaneros and scotch bonnets, this delicious home made sauce is not for the faint hearted, but provides hours of entertainment as you try to tackle the inferno.
