The best restaurants in Combe Down Bath and North East Somerset South West

Personal muy amable y acogedor. Me reuní con un amigo para desayunar aquí. Ambos habíamos cocinado inglés completo, estaba impresionado con las porciones y muy buenos precios. La única desventaja es que se encuentra en una selva de hormigón de una finca de nueva construcción. El aparcamiento aquí es imposible, plazas muy limitadas para el Hub específicamente (5 ? ) y en la calle el aparcamiento parece estar permitido solamente, las carreteras son excepcionalmente estrechas. No es una finca bonita o atractiva para estar.

Booked it as b&b but no breakfast available pub closed at 10pm fri not open at all sat smelt a bit musty when first walked in kitchen closed , rooms clean and well kept nice and warm

Calling this a pub, might be a bit of a stretch. However it does seem to offer a couple of cracking skittles alleys and likewise bathroom taps. Highlights include: - ITV4 being bashed out at high volume, couple of very interesting documentaries for the landlord to enjoy whilst dosing off - renovation work seems to be ‘ongoing’….not quite sure what’s the plan is here but I like what I see so far - the indoor outdoor roof around the bar is something really special… - random man popped in a pair of sliders and collected the biggest McDonald’s order I have ever seen…before scurrying away into some sort of cupboard at the back of the pub - “If the Guinness runs out, the Guinness runs out…I’m not going down there to change it” - an element of self service at the bar, where the landlord wondered off mid pour…kept us on our toes - he certainly did not approve any women paying the bar tab - some really good local literature - tops smells throughout Certainly worth a visit if in the area. Some say it’s well located, as it’s close to town. 3 stars for an entertainment!

This is my favourite fish and chips bar in the whole of Bath! Food was well portioned which reflected in great pricing! Also the food was cooked to order so as fresh as it could be and bloody DELICIOUS

El pub fue recomendado por nuestro anfitrión AirBnb y no decepcionó. Comimos del menú de ofertas de ‘early birds’. El calor era bueno, caliente y abundante. Las patatas fritas eran crujientes, los cazadores pollo encantador y una buena porción de scampi. Faltaba carne en el tagine, pero sabía bien. Bryony, el servidor estaba trabajando por su cuenta, pero el servicio era fabuloso. Dirigió el bar, recibió pedidos, prendió fuego, sirvió comida, todo con una sonrisa y tiempo para charlar y reírse con los clientes. ¡Ella es un crédito para ti!
