The best restaurants in Horam Wealden South East

Friendly people, we go there when my partners daughter is at horse riding sometimes. The only downside is that the coffee tastes like instant from a machine. I really wish they would upgrade to a bean to cup coffee machine.

We had an excellent Greek style meal here last week - Spanakopita (spinach and feta pie with filo pastry), salad, coleslaw and hot potato salad. It was on the specials board and was delicious. We come here regularly as there is always something on the menu that suits everyone. Staff very friendly. We’ll be back!

We were travelling through to Kent and decided to stop over at The Brewers Arms. It’s very hard nowadays to find a traditional country pub. We were greeted with a smile and friendly chat with the staff and locals. We both had the steak and ale pie (thanks chef -sorry I’ve forgotten your name🤦‍♀️) it was absolutely delicious and had chunks of tender meat in. Thanks Terry for the top tip of the Cuckoo Trail. We’ll definitely return another day as the Landlady/Staff and locals made us feel so welcome.
