Good bar area and great staff for a large group - group of golfers (around 48) had the place practically to ourselves all evening for a very nice meal and after dinner drinks. Staff took our humour very well and services us well with a decent range of food and drink - a little on the pricey side but good service and a large area to spread out in with comfort

Very nice pub, cosy atmospher, bit noisy though. Very friendly staff, very attentive. The dishes were reasonable size and tasty. The starters were fantastic, mains really good, delicious desserts.

Excellent food, can't fault it at. Everything we had was very nice. Cornbeef hash, ginger cake and lemon and ginger flan. Delicious. Excellent prices. Lovely and clean and really nice staff. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Stopped off for a drink during a walk and ended up having lunch. The sharing meat platter was exceptional. One of the best scotch eggs I have eaten and both the beef and chicken dishes were equally good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Sat in the garden which is lovely and very dog friendly. Thank you

Terrible experience from start to finish. the food was bland. Too expensive for this low quality food. Definitely not coming back. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

Diner closed due to fire and refurbishment ongoing. Had to use the portaloo and get a coffee from the Shack. Will wait until diner reopens before stopping again. Please open soon
