The best restaurants in Staveley-in-Westmorland South Lakeland North West

The restaurant decoration and environment are 10/10, super cozy and uniquely decorated, nice rustic style. The staff was lovely. However, the food was not that great and overpriced… the steak was 6/10, a lot of fat and nerves, not enjoyable at all, the starter was £15 and we didn’t like it 4/10. They to a beautiful side, lobster mac and cheese, 10/10. If you’re looking for a good steak and worth the price this is not the place.

Breakfast here was superb. Both had the full English and it was perfect in every way. Cafe was busy on the sunday morning we visited but after a 10 min wait we were seated (weather not good enough to sit outside where there are more seats. The food was nothing short of excellent.

We were a party of four who all ordered different meals - we all agreed they were excellent - compliments to the cook!
