I’ve been here several times - met a friend, outweigh the dog and to catch up on work. It’s been brilliant every time. The team are very welcoming and always have a treat ready for the dog - and me!

Amazing food and service by waiter priyanka. The ambience is really good and the place is easy to find.

Had a really nice meal here tonight. Chicken tikka, paneer puri (delicious) bhuna, naan bread. All tasted great, all very different and delicious. Service was also excellent. This is the second time we have been here and the food is top quality and the waiters are pleasant and friendly. We will be back again soon

The food here was delicious and had a very homely taste. The burger was great and the mix platter had lots of different items.

Musical comedy night. Great entertainment from Pete, Brian and Bob. Sadly not all those drinking could converse below a bellow. Probably Man U fans and more to be pitted than chastised. The Lion is one of only 2 pubs in the valley and well worth visiting. Well done for keeping music live. Sadly the company owning the premises ditched mine host. Things went rapidly downhill and it closed for several months. Now August 24, open welcoming and doesn't smell of wet dog. Please call in, Blond Witch a must.

Some of the best Thai food I've ever had,

Chicken curry with chips. Not great. Very bland and was cold in the middle, basically tinned tomatoes and oven chips.

Ordered a take away Saturday, never ordered from here before but defo am again. It was absolutely fantastic. Lots of king prawns in my started and chicken in both the curries. Onion bhaji was fab. Bread fab. See you again Xmas Eve.

Always superb pizza here - never fails and wonderful service for all the family. The best thing is the consistency - something lacking in The Valley.
