The best restaurants in Elswick and Little Eccleston Fylde North West

Really made my friends birthday special and the Sunday dinner was amazing thanks very much I will be back and coca the dog it's a little friendly girl even though she's frightened of mine but Teddy loved it too

Just had food here earlier tonight and I must say it was amazing. New owners have taken over and they are amazing people really friendly and amazing with the kids. If you visit windy harbour or if your an owner on here then I definitely recommend you eat here.

Thought I'd visit for change. Once my local, very open plan and airy now. Bought drink, Ordered Sunday lunch, then told up to 30 minute wait, I thought it would soon pass,45 minute later food arrived, only just warm, had to ask waitress to ping in microwave. Ate all as was quite hungry but sadly doubt I'll return after today's experience. Can't fault the waitress/bar staff.

We visited today for a roast dinner and our 12 year old is autistic and vegetarian so we generally struggle eating out on Sundays but I spoke to the staff who couldn’t of been more accommodating, she spoke to the chef who said write down exactly what she would would eat and that’s what will give her. I was so so impressed that we could enjoy a family meal out on a Sunday and didn’t feel like we were bothering them. The pictures included are the chicken roast dinner and what they were so kind in putting together for our daughter.

Extremely disappointing, to be honest my husband really likes Cartford inn but I've always found it hit and miss. We have only ever been in the evening, however we decided to try Sunday lunch. The service is always good, very friendly staff, but this time the main Sunday lunch was awful. I had beef and my husband had the ham. The beef was fatty, you couldn't chew it and I really struggled to cut it, the roast potatoes were hard, the gravy was definitely out of a packet, the only good bit was the Yorkshire pudding even the red cabbage was over seasoned. When I complained it was removed from the bill. We won't be returning in a hurry, it's a 45 min drive from home, there is far better locally and they don't come under Michelin guide as Cartford does . That definitely needs reviewing.
