We had a excellent meal, one of the best pub meals for a long time, we both really enjoyed our meals, the staff was great and the please great, we will definitely be coming back.

Honestly, this is how a pub should be! Cracking (honestly priced) food. Engaging and knowledgeable staff. Great community atmosphere. My small child, dog and even wife were made to feel very welcome. If you’re in the area, pop by and sample some great northern food, or if you feel the need for change then there is also a fine selection of traditional German food, cooked authentically by the lovely German proprietor. Highly recommend!!!
