The best restaurants in Shavington Cheshire East North West

The sausage rolls are very tasty. I prefer greggs sausage rolls to other bakery shops. Value for money . A must to try!!

Only gave a 3 for atmosphere for 2 reasons. Firstly because our visit was around 1:30 on a Monday afternoon so it was quiet. Secondly because a Hickory’s manager chose to sit behind us to talk to a new member of staff. He was not only loud, but my wife and I thought it was entirely inappropriate to do this within earshot of customers, especially as large areas of the premises were entirely unoccupied.

Pub decor ok, our table had not been cleaned, stains on wall, service was good, however the steak & ale pie I ordered was well over cooked, little steak, very dry and bland also my wife's scampi was teastless. Needless to say we will not be visiting the Station Pilot again.

Ordered a steak,requested jacket potato instead of chips,first time ever I was refused so chips it was,my friend ordered chips instead of mash with her main,she got mash and no offer to change it.Chips were vile so I didn’t eat them,felt reheated and tasted odd,peas were like pellets. My friend heard the manager on the phone to a customer enquiring,he told them that they were quite busy at the moment,there were myself and friend,two ladies having a meal and a guy in the bar area with his dog!It was dead in there!Overheard the waiter apologising to the two ladies for something when he brought their food out aswell. Highly disappointing,won’t be revisiting,no appeal or ambiance in the place,no wonder it is never busy anymore!

The gentleman who served me was totally rude and not professional when asked him a question about how well the bacon had been cooked he yelled at me and it's done I'm sorry Gregg's he shouldn't be allowed at front of house doesn't wear a name badge so I couldn't get his name disappointed as I have to have bacon well done I always ask he is the only one who is rude about it
