The best restaurants in Hartburn Stockton-on-Tees North East

Called in as we had been gifted a voucher. Decided to go for breakfast which was very good. Top quality produce well cooked and presented. Would visit again for Sunday lunch.

Just spent a lovely morning at the craft fair which was amazing. Then had drinks and biscuits in the tea shop. Will definitely go again and definitely recommend to friends and family.

Mixed meat roast was very nice and worth the price. One party member got a child portion, which was a very good size. As a milk allergy sufferer I knew when the dessert menu came to the table, I would not be able to have anything. How wrong was I, they had a vegan choice of 3 desserts to choose from. I chose the Belgium waffle with hazelnut sorbet and maple syrup. Felt spoilt rotten, highly recommend.

Don’t usually write reviews but was so disappointed just had to! After a long day at work decided to treat myself to fish and chips. Had never tried Hartburn Fish Bar before even though ‘my local. Never again - I’m not that fussy an eater but the fish was absolutely inedible. I’ve given 2 stars cos the chips were passable so managed to avoid the whole meal going in the bin.

Young substance misusers rife and causing conflicts, filthy pool table, great staff, nice beer, didn’t get chance to try the food.
