The best restaurants in Harrowgate Hill Darlington North East

Apart from being 20 mins later than latest estimated delivery time, I cannot fault this restaurant. Lovely food and lots of it - my meal provided me with 2 generous portions with plenty left. Delivered nice and hot - I would recommend.

First.impression when walked in lovely clean tidy place. Food.smell was.nice. staff very.pleasant,I had lasagne. No taste at all. Burnt.on the bottom, chips.nice. lemon meringue.sunday had.no.meringue.in. Hubby had burger.n.chips He said was very dry. And ended up.taking a burger home.for.dog. Mushroom we're.lovely. apart from pepper in batter,made.me.cough soooo much. Overall. OK. But wouldn't return. Food served super fast though. Menu didn't have.much unless you.love steak n burger.or a curry? Portion sizes.were.good. but.judt.no.flavours at all.

Had an absolutely fabulous family meal last night.the food was cooked perfect no trouble to cook different meals.the staff always make you feel welcome nothing is to much trouble. They were even good with my grandchild. Definitely value for money. Thankyou for a great time

The first time at Excel was not disappointed ,lots eating places at reasonable prices. Excel staff informative and friendly. Car parking paid on advance great .parked 10am till midnight £25 left car there explored London 15 mins on Elizabeth line
