Good points: Easy access from the A1, free parking and a pub 50m away doing excellent food, night porter/security. Pretty quiet. Average points: Just a couple of silly things really, like no statutory toiletries in the bathroom, wooden stirrers instead of spoons, no onsite facilities for food apart from crisps etc. Bring a sandwich or cereal and milk if you want breakfast.

The rooms are dated, the staff was friendly and helpful, a stop off over night for a cheap enough price

The staff was friendly, helpfull and making us feel welcomed but that's all good I can say about this place. The place is aged, old, tired, even the air is heavy. The room was large but aged. Furniture looks awfull, old, full of scratches, marks and stains. The matrice was confortable but the bed was broken and noisy. Bathroom is aged, there are a lot of spots and corners where you can hurt yourself. The kettle and mugs provided were dirty so I didn't use them. A place to avoid. Will nevet come back.

Walked into the reception and it was like a crack den with a load of crack heads in hoodies sat around. Didn't feel safe or at ease all night. I'm guessing the hotel is being used as some kind of hostel/half way house. People outside in the capark early hours and walking around the hotel. The rooms were so very basic and not what I was expecting. I wouldn't recommend taking kids here at all, I wouldn't go back.

I'm afraid to say the room/toilet was dirty For £55 for 1 night for 1 person I would expect a little bit more.

Although the rooms are a little dated, the hotel is nice to stay at and the staff are very accommodating. There's a pub right next door for meals and for the little nick nacks for over night there are shop a short drive away.

This is my new go to Chinese, we always used sun luck but since it closed, tried many different takeaways but never found a good one, so just gave having Chinese. We gave this a try as my niece said it was nice, she wasn't wrong, food is lovely never had a bad meal yet, owner's are lovely and friendly, I usually call in on way home from work, so have never had a delivery, I never order from anywhere for delivery as I know you wait an age. There is always space outside shop to park.

Arrived piping hot and freshly made, brimming with gooey, cheesy deliciousness. Frustratingly, the crust was not the thin base I had requested; instead, it was quite thick, which made it overly filling and sticky for me. Sadly, I ended up eating most of the topping but had to waste half of the base due to its thickness. The pepperoni pieces were wonderfully chunky and flavourful, while the garlic sauce was absolutely stunning. Recommended for the taste and service.

Thought we would give it a try helping out local businesses during these times ordered two bacon/egg sandwiches and two latte coffees Coffee was really nice but the bacon sandwich wasn't worth the money it's the only time I have ever had a bacon sandwich with only one piece of bacon in it.... it's not as if the piece of bacon was large it wasn't Service was polite and friendly

Absolutely fantastic chippy. Everything cooked fresh and to order. Great value for money. Staff were exceptionally nice and courteous with all the customers, despite being quite busy. They take card which is very important in this day and age. Will definitely be going back.
