Best Chinese! Food is always spot on, people in the shop and delivery drivers very friendly. Salt and pepper chicken is unreal!

Where is my food? £40 order you robbers!

Ordered through just eat, food never arrived and they marked it as complete. Rang to ask about the the order and the member of staff just screamed at me telling me he is busy and hung up. They took over £30 and delivered no food, a shambles and a scam. You should be ashamed

Ordered food on just eat by mistake on a Monday..phoned up and very rude and aggressive man answered the phone saying he couldn’t help

Wouldn't bother. Doesn't get your order right. You wait an 1 hour and 20 minutes to find out half of it is missing. When you call he complains that you didn't check the order... its standard you assume the person taking the order actually write it down.

Meal 15 minutes later than latest time given. Chow Mein probably <😫5% chicken. Also cold. Chicken Maryland no better

1st time ordering, over an hour late, food was awful and lukewarm, crispy beef in Peking sauce tasted more lkke sweet and sour, tasteless gravy on chips, if I'd known they were frozen chips and not homemade I wouldn't have gone anywhere near. Very disappointing 😞

Chicken chop suey fried rice ordered 6 15 picked it up back home for 7 best Chinese I've had service was first class defetley be going back

Very clean takeaway resturant. Food is fresh and made to order, full of flavour. Highly recommended.

This is not my nearest Chinese takeaway (delivery) by any means. However, although having tried nearer establishments I keep returning to China Cottage. The quality of the food is exceptional with generous portions and not scrimping on the key ingredients. Don't be put off by premises, as the quality is all behind the swing shutter doors in the kitchen. Another plus is chef and front staff actually read the notes section on internet ordering section.

Didn't arrive, still waiting 3 hours after ordering, called 21 times no answer. Still waiting for refund or an apology

The food was very salty and eggshells were found in the foo yung Will not be going back

Hi all They must have changed chiefs, Chung's kitchen was closed. So tried China cottage again usually ok for back up.not tonight soup and barbQ ribs were in like jelly.and the Peking special was over hot with two many jalepenos in it,even after being picked out still to spicey. Chung's kitchen like Ming chef is same every time. unlike China crapage.nooooooooooo.

Always been good Chinese but last 2 times were awfull first rice was soggy n far to much salt on chips then tonight ordered chicken balls omg would not of fed them to my dogs when you bit into them chicken tasted disgusting and even worse when u looked half of it was black

Ordered food last night, the duck in honey & pepper is probably the best dish I’ve tasted from a Chinese.

Food was well over an hour late it was cold and half the order was missing. Will not order from them again

I order on Saturday in shop and waited about 30min for my order. When I got home I didn’t get what I paid for . Very let down. The lady on the desk was saying about other order , some delivery over a hour wait.

Ordered Deep Fried Prawns when they arrived they were covered in fried noodles it was not what I ordered or what it said on menu. phoned shop and the girl said that it was the correct irder and bye. I wouldnt order from them again

Got delivered scrap chips and undercooked chicken and guess what surprise surprise they won't answer

Ordered sweet chilli chicken balls with chips..when it came the chicken was so tiny pieces, couldn't bite them, as they got colder they went harder, un edible..chips looked like they had been had been warmed up.. chicken curry with fried rice was horrible 😫, I will not be ordering from them in future...waste of money

Don't often. Come here but. when I do the staff are always friendly food was good,, and what was good it was piping hot, told my friend about it and. we decided to order a takeaway one night it was delivered. right on time and everything we ordered. was there delivered with a friendly face, so nothing at all to complain about.

First visit to area.. Read reviews...was recommended by workforce at Albert Hill Ind Est... Friendly Staff... Good selection... Opted for my fave of King prawn curry egg fried and 2x pancake rolls...wasn't disappointed... Will be back.......not sure when though... Rgds visiting driver....

This Chinese is loverly i used to go to sungs but i no longer can get out as much and wanted somewhere where the food is as lush as there is and i found it in china cottage and its on just eat so can pay by card and have it delivered which for me is bonus as disabled and its always hot and on time which is another bonus you wont be disapointed if you try them

Order from just eat meal came 15 mins late I had order in crispy duck snd beef chow mein with mushrooms a gravy and chips when the order arrived I opened it thought was small but on opening crispy duc k I realised that there was no gravy and had pored on my chow mein duck sauce which completely spoilt the meal which really annoyed me as I shared it with a friend who do not normally treat herself to takeaways I rang the resterant and informed them they redelivered the gravy and another sauce for the duck however my meal was spoiled by the du k sau e will never be using this restaurant again

Amazing food, very reasonable prices. came early, and actually read my note about no water chestnuts. Really impressed. Delivery woman was friendly and kind aswell. Will definitely be ordering here again

Great food at a resonable price. Only takes payment via cash so make sure you take more than your cards.
