This is a lovely cafe. A small menu but everything is first rate. The cakes are absolutely awesome. Really good coffee. The owner is really friendly and you feel very welcome. Looking forward to coming in the summer and being able to sit outside.

Stopped off for a bite & bought a piece of cheese & onion quiche & a couple of corned beef slices, the quiche just melted in my mouth, so tasty & moist & absolutely huge, as for the corned beef slice, it’s a meal in itself, delicious, prefer the non corner bits as too much pastry, as others have said, do but local, must better than anything you can get in the supermarkets!

Our first visit for lunch. Much better than we expected as this is a training facility. Very good food and a friendly service. Very good value

I had my first takeaway from Samis Spice and it was beautiful.. Really tasty and the ingredients felt like good quality. Friendly service as well. I will definitely be ordering again.

La principal variedad de platos principales son las tartas, desde pequeños hasta más grandes, la Sra. Boucake pone amor a todos ellos. Sinceramente recomendado.

My wife and I had the £10 meal deal, starter, main course (pasta or pizza) with tea/coffee to finish. Everything was perfectly cooked and served piping hot. Amazing value, service and meal. We will be back.

He visto estos chicos en un mercado de alimentos en Durham. La comida no era de este mundo, de lejos, el mejor Pad Thai que he probado jamás. Probaría el Facebook nenas para encontrar dónde están al lado y definitivamente y vea, bien merece una visita!!

Beautiful seafood dishes. Great staff. Quaint little restaurant with a beautiful outdoor seating area. I visited for the first time today for lunch and will definitely be returning soon. Such an amazing place to have right on my doorstep. Love it!

We visited on a Friday evening, had some very nice cocktails especially Wallington dream their signature cocktail. After coming back from holiday this place made us feel likke we are still celebrating on holidays. Love the calzone and the seafood linguine very fresh and tasty. We'll done to the owner and the team they turned this place to a proper Restaurant

I had a jacket potato with salad, not an onion or spinach leaf in sight. My husband had a sausage and egg bap. Both were beyond comparison. We also bought a quiche for next day's tea, scrummy. And the cakes....yummy! We were travelling home from holiday and like to support local bakeries, but my word what a find, absolute gem. We would be happy to make a detour here, already recommended to others who I know travel this direction. Has to be 5 stars all the way!!!

We’re not vegans, merely vegetarians! However it was a lovely surprise to stumble across this stall whilst on a walk around Durham. Whilst not hungry at the time, we bought some pastries and a scotch egg for later, purely because it was nice to see a trader specialising in meat free (or in this case vegan) products and not someone making a token effort. All of of our food tasted awesome and we’ll definitely make a point of visiting here to try something else the next time we are in Durham.
