Zen Den Wellbeing Coffee Lounge in County Durham

Popped in for coffee and scone and was not disappointed. The whole feel of the place is one of calm and relaxation and the service was spot on. Wonderful cofee and lovely fresh scones.

This place has become a new staple for our little breakfast and lunch trips. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, not to mention it’s incredibly affordable. The food is amazing. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and flavourful, plenty of different choices for all, including vegan and gluten free choices! Honourable mention to the coffee too, it’s delicious and never fails. My partner is very particular about his coffee but always raves about how good it is from Zen Den. Beyond the food, the service here is exceptional. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making your experience memorable. They're more than happy to offer recommendations and ensure that you leave with a smile.

We called in for a coffee and were pleasantly surprised. The cafe is pretty, comfortable and cosy and has a very mystical feel and look about it. On the walls are lots of feel good messages with hints and tips about helping to make the most of yourself. The food and drinks menu is varied, offering items designed to stimulate a feeling of well-being and is reasonably priced. There is also a good selection of scones and cakes. Absolutely loved it and can't wait for a return visit.
